Prizes For 2009 Talent Competition

VOICE OF TOMORROW FESTIVAL4STARS PRIZE PACKAGE 2010

Festival4stars Singing Finals Judges, Nick Murdoch [Voice of Tomorrow Director] & Gareth Ellis [ Asst. Musical Director of Wicked ] will pick a performer from the Musical Solo 15 yrs to adult section ( this may not be the winner of the category )

Voice of Tomorrow will fund the training course which will be over 6 - 8 weeks in London (with some fantastic names lined up this year as coaches for 2010. The best in the West End )

The Festival4stars finalist is guaranteed a place in the competition as one of the 10 or 12 soloists chosen, in open auditions taking place around the U.K.

Voice of Tomorrow will introduce him or her to a major Casting Director ( separately to the rest of the competitors so they have a private audition with individual feedback )

The winner of this prize will also receive a day in a London studio to record 1 or 2 tracks so they can use these tracks as a demo.

This Pop video of Alix Robb [Festival4stars International winner Pop Rock Songwriting Section 2008 & National Finalist Singing 2008], was her prize awarded to her on Sunday 16th November 2008 by T Media Productions.It was filmed during March.

The 2009 prize of a T MEDIA pop video plus an original song donated by Frielance Music will be presented on Sunday 15th November at the Awards Dinner in Glasgow. The finalist for this prize will be chosen by Tom Mulcrow & Greg Friel.

College Overview

Laine Theatre Arts was established in 1974 in the Surrey town of Epsom, just half an hour from London's lively West End Theatreland and is internationally recognised as being one of the leading training colleges for Performing Arts.

It offers Professional Dance, Musical Theatre & Teacher Training and is accredited by the Council for Dance Education & Training. A limited number of places are available, funded by the Dept for Education & Skills. Students follow the curriculum for the National Diploma in Professional Dance or the National Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre. The diplomas, which are awarded by Trinity College London, are compulsory for students with funded places and carry a "level 4" rating in the national qualifications framework.

The College aims to provide the broadest possible training, giving each student individual attention to enable them to graduate with professional confidence, secure in the knowledge that they are prepared for whatever the industry has to offer.

The main emphasis of the course concentrates on practical training in a range of Musical Theatre and Dance subjects and takes place at the specially designed and built spacious Studio complex which opened in 1987, and at our Musical Theatre annexe - which, combined, offer 10 Dance studios, Musical Theatre, Drama, Singing, and Music facilities.

A fully equipped Studio Theatre & Workshop Performance Area provide the students with 'In House', performance areas allowing them to gain experience in a wide range of musical and dance events.

Visiting any theatre you will notice LTA graduates starring in major roles in many Musicals and Dramatic stage productions throughout the world. They also achieve great success in the Music, Film & Television industries.

A Full Summer Course:
Option 1) Summer School: Classes in Ballet, Jazz and Workshops in Dance Repertoire or Musical Theatre.
Option 2) West End Workshop: Jazz class plus an opportunity to learn songs and choreography from two West End shows.
Both courses are taught by Urdang faculty and West End performers.

PURE STAR PRODUCTIONS  LTD. are  delighted  to offer the  “GROUP DANCE” &"STAR GROUP SECTION" Winners  of Festival 4 Stars  2008,  a  three  hour  private  Master Class  with  Company  Director, Timothy Noble, to be held, on a date  and  at a venue pre-arranged by Festival 4 Stars. The winner of  “SOLO DANCE”  category will also receive a  similar Master Class, where Timothy will set  choreography in a style of the winners choice as well as offering  industry  based advice and  career guidance.
