Solo Dance	Solo Singing
1 & ½ mins CDs only All auditions in front of an audience In either Dance studio or function room 12 yrs & under [Any style] 13 – 20 yrs [Any style]	Any song not from a Musical 2 mins CDs only [no need to adapt CD as it will be faded out after 2 mins] 14 yrs & Under 15 yrs to Adult Auditions at heats are in private but family & friends can watch if Competitor wishes them to.
Musical Solos	Musical Group
Songs can be chosen from Musical Theatre productions or any films 2 mins CDs only [no need to adapt CD as it will be faded out after 2 mins] 14 yrs & Under 15 yrs to Adult Auditions at heats are in private but family & friends can watch if Competitor wishes them to.	Performances can be chosen from Musical Theatre productions or any films 3 minutes only music on CDs Judged on Musical Performance Open to all age groups, no limit to numbers but hotel dance floor may be restrictive so please check with venue for size All auditions in front of an audience in the main suite
Dance Duos / Trios & Groups	Star Group
3 minutes only music on CDs This section will be judged on choreography & presentation All Auditions in front of an audience in the main suite	3 minutes only music on CDs Judged purely on its performance quality Open to all age groups .For duos, bands, choirs, groups, comedy or drama No solo artists & nothing from Musicals i.e. nothing that could fit into any other category All auditions in front of an audience in the main suite

Regional Finals Stage in the Main Suite

HEAT finals will be held on the same day at 4pm, but regional finals will be held on a different date, please see 'venue/dates' page for more information. All winners from singing and dance sections perform the same piece again in front of a panel of judges and an audience (Singers will get 3 minutes performance time at this stage before being faded out instead of 2 minutes at heats stage)
